BREAKING: GOP Senators Pressing Garland Over Lack Of Prosecutions For SCOTUS Home Protesters

(Republican Leader) – Top-ranking Republicans in the Senate are demanding to know why Attorney General Merrick Garland is not seeking the prosecution of the illegal protesters who are attempting to use intimidation tactics as a means of persuading Supreme Court justices to not rule to overturn Roe v. Wade.

According to Just The News, a total of 12 senators have sent out a letter to Garland after a man was arrested outside Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s home while, according to the suspect, plotting to assassinate him and then kill himself.

“Somehow, the situation is only escalating,” the senators observed. “Not only did the illegal picketing resume mere hours after the assassination attempt on Justice Kavanaugh, but reports are that those seeking to intimidate the Justices at their homes plan to expand their campaign of harassment to their children’s schools. Enough.”

The GOP senators then wrote that the protests are in violation of a law “that criminalizes parading or picketing in front of the homes of judges with the intent to influence pending litigation.”

Radical left-wing pro-abortion groups like “Ruth Sent Us” have been holding protests outside of the justices’ homes ever since the beginning of May, which is when Politico published a leak of a Supreme Court draft opinion that shows the justices planning to overturn Roe v. Wade, which would then return regulation of abortion over to the states, where the 10th Amendment makes clear it belongs.

Abortion is one of the scourges of our nation. It is a modern-day holocaust, a massive offense to God, who created mankind in His image, giving each and every life, from the moment of conception, inherent value. An assault on an unborn child is an assault on God Himself, as is every murder.

“We are aware that President Biden has endorsed home protests for Justices, but as you told us repeatedly, your decisions whom to prosecute would not be decided by the White House. Is White House policy keeping you from bringing charges? If not, tell us. Or tell our staff,” the senators went on to demand in the letter.

“The letter was signed by Republican Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) and Ranking Judiciary Committee Member Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) as well as Sens. John Kennedy (R-La.) Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), John Cornyn (R-Texas), Mike Lee (R-Utah), Ted Cruz (R-Texas), Ben Sasse (R-Neb.), Josh Hawley (R-Mo.), Tom Cotton (R-Ark.), Thom Tillis (R-N.C.), and Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.),” Just The News reported.

“Last week, a man tried to assassinate Justice Kavanaugh after watching videos of protests in front of his home. Protesting outside of a judge’s home is a crime. The DOJ doesn’t get to pick and choose which crimes to prosecute,” Kennedy stated on the letter.

The left is starting to resort to acts of violence and intimidation in order to protect the murder of the unborn, which shows how desperate they are to protect this sickening act of human sacrifice.

Our Supreme Court justices need to be free to rule on issues and important cases according to the Constitution, not the will of a few miscreants.
