(Republican Leader) – Florida Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis has officially announced he will be running for president in 2024. Of course, truth be told, most of us already figured he would be tossing his hat in the ring, especially with the enormous success he’s had running his state.
DeSantis has managed to defeat the federal government during the pandemic by preventing his state from shutting down. He’s also put radical left-wing educators in their place and protected children from being exposed to sexual deviance in the classroom. When major woke corporation Disney got all up in his business, he slapped them with reality.
According to Johnathan Jones of The Western Journal, the governor filed his paperwork with the Federal Election Commission on Wednesday. He made the full, official announcement in a conversation with Elon Musk, owner of Twitter, on the social media platform.
“DeSantis has seen his star rise since early 2020, when his leadership in Florida became a roadmap for successful conservative governance to leaders nationwide,” the report stated. “The governor narrowly won his first race to lead his state in 2018 when he defeated Democrat Andrew Gillum by about 30,000 votes.”

Well, as it turns out, the residents of Florida made a really solid choice. Later, Gillum ended up being forced to explain why he was discovered in a hotel room with a gay escort who had overdosed on drugs. He was arrested by the FBI for alleged wire fraud. Not exactly the kind of upstanding moral character you want in a leader, right?
“In November, DeSantis cruised to re-election when he soundly defeated Democrat Charlie Crist, a former Sunshine State governor who was previously a Republican and then an independent after that,” Jones said. “DeSantis won by almost 20 points and more than 1.5 million votes in a blowout that shocked many political forecasters.”
It surprised forecasters because they have been drinking the Democratic Party propaganda Kool Aid for so long that it now baffles their minds to think average Americans might vote in favor of a Republican with a completely different worldview.
This massive victory earned DeSantis a reputation for being a true force in modern politics, especially on the conservative side of the spectrum.
“En route to victory, DeSantis helped other statewide Republicans in their respective races – leaving Florida’s Democratic Party questioning not just whether it was competitive but whether it was even relevant at all in a state that went from purple to ruby red,” Jones continued.
The stiffest competition DeSantis faces in the GOP primary race is former President Donald Trump.
However, it’s important to note that Trump still has a solid lead in the polls and if things continue this way, will no doubt be the GOP nominee to face off against Joe Biden in 2024.
Regardless of who wins the primary, either one of these men are good choices to lead the country. The most important focus needs to be on defeating Biden in order to stop Democrats from implementing their wacked out agenda.
