Will Joe Rogan Interview Donald Trump? Podcaster Reveals What He Wants To Ask Former President

(Republican Leader) – Who would’ve thought that comedian and MMA commentator Joe Rogan would become one of the most critical voices in the media landscape? Rogan is the most listened to podcaster on the planet, reaching an audience of millions upon millions of individuals. This has given him massive influence all over the world. If you are able to be a guest on his show, you have a golden opportunity to connect with a wide variety of people from many different walks of life. Which is why so many have wanted to see Rogan do an interview with former President Donald Trump. However, so far Rogan has refused.

That might be slowly beginning to change.

According to Teressa Monroe-Hamilton of BizPac Review, Rogan may have hinted on a recent episode of his show that he is becoming more open to the idea of having Trump on for an interview. Perhaps “interview” is not the right terminology. The guests who come on Rogan’s show aren’t really interviewed by the host. The two usually just have a conversation and cover a broad range of topics. It would be an interesting format to see Trump participate in.

“Rogan has previously stated that he would not have Trump on his show and claims to have turned down previous opportunities to do so. With the 2024 presidential race looming and it currently appearing that the contest will be between Trump and President Biden, Rogan seems to be itching to speak with the former president about the current and historical political landscape. The viral podcaster hinted at the possibility of a Trump sitdown on Thursday’s edition of ‘The Joe Rogan Experience.’ He alluded to it while having a discussion with political commentator Patrick Bet-David over business and politics,” Hamilton said.

I have no doubt in my mind that an episode featuring Trump would break the internet and likely become the most listened to episode of Rogan’s show. It’s simply good business to have him on as a guest. It doesn’t mean that Rogan has to endorse the guy for the White House.

“When are you having Trump on?” Bet-David asked the popular host and MMA commentator.

Rogan replied, “I don’t know.” He seemed legitimately torn about the idea.

“The look — looks like you got something,” Bet-David remarked to him.

“I don’t know – maybe,” Rogan commented with more than a little hesitancy.

Rogan then went on to say that he would definitely like to ask the former president, “At a certain point in time, it’s just like. It would be interesting to hear his perspective on a lot of things.”

The host is especially curious about how all of the political intrigue works behind the scenes, despite promising last year he would never bring Trump on the show.

“I would like to know what is it like when you actually get into office. I would like to know things like what is it like versus perception. What is it actually like when you get in that building? What are you greeted with? When do you know that people are f***ing with you?” Rogan went on, dropping a subtle hint at what a discussion with Trump would entail.

“When do you know the intelligence agencies are lying to you? Like when you decided to fire Comey? What was the thought? How much did you know? What’s the machine like? What is the deep state really like?” he pondered during the episode.

“Really like, because we have all these, you know, smoky room perceptions, like from the Bill Hicks joke or they show you the Kennedy assassination from an angle you’ve never seen before. You know, what is the machine that runs this country? Because it’s very clear that it’s not as simple as elected representatives that are doing the will of the people,” Rogan continued.

Bet-David continued to press the topic, but there was no complete and total confirmation that a conversation between Rogan and Trump will ever take place.

“Just so you know, he and I don’t speak. You know, it’s not something that is like, hey, his camp is saying go in there and do this and do that. Now, I’ve never interviewed the guy, so it’s not like I’m lobbying for it,” Bet-David asserted during their conversation.

“Despite what Bet-David thinks of the former president, you can tell that from a free speech perspective, he believes it would be a very good thing for the two men to get together. Rogan is no fan of President Biden either. With roughly 11 million listeners, it would be a fantastic forum for Trump and would hit Biden right where it hurts which may be another reason the podcaster is reconsidering his options. It would set the Internet on fire,” Hamilton wrote in the report.

Lots of folks on social media expressed their excitement about the idea.
