Donald Trump’s Reaction To Biden’s Fall Puts The Media To Shame

(Republican Leader) – If you were to ask the average person to offer up a description of former President Donald Trump, more often than not, they would paint a picture of a man who is a total jerk — worse terms would probably be employed — due to the way the mainstream media outlets have spun narrative after narrative of him and the things he’s said and done — ripping most of these completely out of context — referring to him as angry, arrogant, and vindictive.

However, if you look at Trump’s history, you’ll quickly see that is hardly the case at all. The media is taking bits and pieces of the former president and pasting them together to create the picture of him they want you to see. Plain and simple.

What the legacy networks and publications don’t get is that this says a whole lot more about them than it does Trump.

A great example that showcases the real Trump is his reaction to the news of Biden’s recent fall.

Check out this clip from Twitter of Trump learning about the fall in real time:

“He’s at the Air Force Academy?” Trump asked upon hearing about the incident. “He actually fell down?”

The former president then remarked, “Well I hope he wasn’t hurt. I hope he wasn’t hurt. But the — Look, the whole thing is crazy. You gotta be careful about that. You gotta be careful about that because you don’t want that. Even if you have to tiptoe down a ramp.”

The last bit of the statement got a chuckle from the audience as Trump made a reference to how close he came to having his own “Biden moment” back in the summer of 2020.

That month, Trump, speaking at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, went viral after a clip of him gingerly walking down a ramp began making the rounds,” The Western Journal reported.

When this happened, Biden’s response to Trump’s incident was far less gracious and carried a mocking tone.

Trump wished the man well and poked fun at himself. Biden blustered and mocked. Says all you need to know about the difference in character between the two men, doesn’t it?

“Fast-forward just about three years, and Trump has no problem laughing at himself a bit over that incident. That’s a far cry from the obsessively proud egomaniac the media paints Trump to be,” the WJ continued.

Whenever Trump has been faced with learning the news of something negative happening to a political or ideological opponent, he’s always appeared to be gracious. Another example of this comes from September 2020 when he learned that Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg died while he was on an airport tarmac.

“She just died? Wow, I didn’t know that. You’re telling me now for the first time,” Trump went on to say at the time. “She led an amazing life. What else can you say? She was an amazing woman. Whether you agreed or not, she was an amazing woman who led an amazing life.”

“I’m actually sad to hear that. I am sad to hear that,” the former president stated.

The lesson here, kids, is don’t buy what the media is selling when it comes to how it portrays Trump or basically anyone who is not a blind left-wing zealot.
