(Republican Leader) – Elon Musk, billionaire CEO of Tesla and brand new owner of Twitter, seems to be having the time of his life running the social media company, rolling out a number of changes that champion freedom of speech while simultaneously causing liberals to have epic — and utterly hilarious — meltdowns.
Here lately, Musk has been enjoying trolling Senate Democrats who have been vowing to the sun, moon, and the stars they are going to open up an investigation into his company, calling on the Federal Trade Commission to examine what they are calling with much dramatic flare, his “dramatic steps” as he continues to purge Twitter of all its dead weight.
According to BizPacReview, Musk posted a tweet last Friday that was — chef’s kiss — utter perfection, brutally mocking the left-wing senators who are attacking him and the new and vastly improved Twitter. The photograph in the post showed two rhinos mating while the photographer looked in the wrong direction.
“Some would call that apropos given the witch hunt against him versus the implosion of the now-defunct cryptocurrency firm FTX which funneled massive amounts of money to Democrats in the midterm elections,” political writer Terresa Monroe-Hamilton wrote for the outlet.
“FTX losing over a billion dollars of client funds,” Musk hilariously posted on his account. “Senators calling for the FTC to investigate Twitter.”
Fox News said that seven Democrat senators wrote up a letter last Thursday addressed to the FTC which stated in part, “We write regarding Twitter’s serious, willful disregard for the safety and security of its users, and encourage the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) to investigate any breach of Twitter’s consent decree or other violations of our consumer protection laws.”
Let’s break this down for a second. The real reason that Democrats are attacking Musk is because he is taking Twitter and making it a more open platform for all people. This means that they are losing the platform they invested so much time and energy into making their very own echo chamber. Now conservatives are allowed to openly share their thoughts and opinions on the issues of the day, engaging the faulty policies and ideas of the left.
Progressives and their ideology will now be scrutinized heavily, and deep down, these people know their worldview will not stand up to close examination. In short, they want to stop this from happening and regain control over the platform.

“In recent weeks, Twitter’s new Chief Executive Officer, Elon Musk, has taken alarming steps that have undermined the integrity and safety of the platform, and announced new features despite clear warnings those changes would be abused for fraud, scams, and dangerous impersonation,” the letter went on to say.
“We fear that Mr. Musk’s reported changes to internal reviews and data security practices further put consumers at risk and could directly violate the requirements of the consent decree,” the Democrats warned with a healthy dose of melodrama.
“We urge the Commission to vigorously oversee its consent decree with Twitter and to bring enforcement actions against any breaches or business practices that are unfair or deceptive, including bringing civil penalties and imposing liability on individual Twitter executives where appropriate,” the senators added.
Here are the jokers who signed the letter: Dianne Feinstein (D-CA), Richard Blumenthal (D-CT), Ben Ray Luján (D-NM), Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), Ed Markey (D-MA), Bob Menendez (D-NJ), and Cory Booker (D-NJ).
Well, there you have it. A list of seven anti-free speech Democratic senators. The work should be put in over the next few years to make sure these people are not reelected.

Ed Markey was already going into berserk mode on Musk last Thursday, threatening the Twitter owner by saying he would “pay a price” if he didn’t take action to fix the issues with the platform’s new paid blue checkmark verification process. Now that kind of rhetoric might spawn some act of violence, don’t you think? Markey should know better than to speak that way. That’s what the left say about conservatives on a daily basis.
“Again, as the owner of these companies, he can fire anyone he wants. He can do whatever he wants inside of those companies, but when he’s dealing with the federal government in terms of federal laws, he’s not free to do that. You cannot ignore what the federal government is requiring of your company,” Markey went on to say on “The Mehdi Hasan Show” Wednesday.
“And that goes for safety rules in your vehicles, and it also goes for guardrails that have to be built around social media sites that are allowing for Twitter for eight dollars to give someone an ability to impersonate who they are. And they could be impersonating the fact that they’re the CDC, or Eli Lilly, or a United States senator. That is not permissible… They will pay a price if they don’t put safeguards in place at Twitter,” he pressed on.
“We need to pass actual federal legislation to ensure that there are guardrails, that there are safeguards, that there are protections against vehicles being put out on the road made by Tesla or anyone else that doesn’t have a driver in them because it could endanger other drivers or pedestrians,” Markey continued.
“And the same thing is true with Twitter. Twitter has been operating under a consent decree with the Federal Trade Commission since 2011. They’ve been on privacy probation for 11 years. And that comes under the jurisdiction of the Commerce Committee in the Senate as well. And this is only to ensure that there is, in fact, protections for the safety on our highways and online for American consumers,” the senator remarked.

In the world the Democrats want to create, there is no room for anyone to have a dissenting opinion. They don’t want you and I to think for ourselves. Thinking for yourself means you will not submit or comply with every single thing the elites tell you. You are a danger to their plan for control. Thus, any platform that is not an echo chamber for their ideology is seen as a threat to subdue, take over, and control.
Which is why the battle for Twitter is so critical. Let’s hope Musk continues to hold his ground.

Musk just continually shows what happens to ‘intellectual’ millionaires…. oh, I’m sorry…. billionaires, who make money off of a people suffering through a pandemic, when they eat too many paint chips. Funny…. he didn’t really WANT them to accept his bid for Twitter. He’s laid off employees and caused genuine retirement of his work base, and alienated the remaining staff.
